China-Indonesia trade volume grew from $50 billion in 2013 to $139.4 billion in 2023, with Chinese investment in Indonesia rising from $300 million to $8.3 billion. China has maintained its position as Indonesia's largest trading partner for 11 consecutive years and climbed from the 12th to the second-largest source of foreign investment. In recent years, Indonesia's e-commerce industry has experienced rapid development. As the largest consumer market in ASEAN by population, Indonesia's e-commerce GMV reached $62 billion in 2023. It is predicted that from 2024 to 2028, Indonesia's e-commerce market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 12.4%.

V. Previous Overview
The 2024 Indonesia Product Selection Exhibition covered approximately 10,000 square meters over three days, with over 300 domestic and international exhibitors and more than 22,000 visitors. Exhibits included popular categories such as smart technology, personal care and cosmetics, home goods, pet supplies, maternal and child toys, auto and motorcycle parts, high-end food, new energy, and outdoor products. Domestic exhibitors came from nearly 20 provinces and regions across China, including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, and Shaanxi, while international exhibitors came from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and other countries and regions.
The exhibition actively built a platform to promote in-depth cooperation between Chinese political and business circles and industrial and commercial circles in ASEAN countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia. Over 30 concurrent business visits were organized, resulting in more than 10 MOUs signed, with intended orders for "Trade Promotion Premium" collective exports exceeding 300 million RMB.
