To implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on advancing the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution, seize the opportunities brought by the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, deeply explore the development strategies and effective paths for industrial technology innovation among BRICS countries, fully leverage the latest achievements in industrial technology innovation among BRICS and 'BRICS Plus' countries, strengthen the alignment of BRICS countries' science and technology development strategies, deepen industrial innovation cooperation among BRICS countries, facilitate industrial alignment, and promote the industrialization of manufacturing innovation achievements among BRICS countries, under the guidance of the High-Tech Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the Industrial Development Promotion Center of MIIT plans to host the BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum 2025 Sub-Forum (or Thematic Seminar) on Industrial Technology Innovation on the morning of September 17, 2025, in Xiamen, Fujian Province. We are now soliciting advanced and applicable technologies and solutions that can be recommended to BRICS countries. Relevant details are as follows:
Policy Background
[SKIPPED] 2025 marks the fifth anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping's announcement of the establishment of the BRICS Innovation Base. Leveraging this milestone, we aim to fully promote the high-quality development of 'Greater BRICS Cooperation,' drive the deep integration of industrial innovation and technological innovation, and tentatively propose 'New Industries, New Models, New Momentum—Innovation, Synergy, Green' as the sub-forum theme.
[SKIPPED] To further deepen exchanges and cooperation in the industrial sector with BRICS countries, seize the opportunities of BRICS expansion and the digital, networked, and intelligent development of BRICS industries, create a new pattern of industrial cooperation characterized by synergistic development and mutual benefit, and provide a platform for high-quality domestic enterprises willing to expand into BRICS markets to enhance the international competitiveness of their products and services, we hereby launch this call for submissions.

1. New-generation information technologies, intelligent manufacturing technologies, advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment, and integrated solutions applicable to the upgrading and transformation of traditional manufacturing industries.
2. Energy-saving and environmental protection technologies, green and low-carbon technologies, new energy technologies, and integrated green development solutions for sustainable development.
3. Agricultural equipment technologies and smart agriculture solutions for agricultural modernization.
4. Intelligent equipment, intelligent manufacturing, industrial digitalization technologies, and solutions for textiles, food processing, or other consumer goods sectors.
5. Artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, big data, and cloud computing solutions for the digital economy and industrial digitalization.
6. Materials, energy technologies, or solutions related to the new energy sector.
7. Other suitable advanced and applicable technologies or integrated solutions.
Technical Features
1. Distinctive: Representing advanced industry standards with significant innovation.
2. Practical and applicable: Easy to implement in BRICS countries, with low investment costs, quick results, and strong potential for promotion and market prospects.
3. Green and energy-efficient: Aligned with sustainable development principles, emphasizing environmental protection and efficient energy conservation and emission reduction.
4. Demand-driven: Meeting the industrial needs of BRICS countries, capable of delivering substantial economic and social benefits for technological innovation and industrial transformation.
Submission Requirements
1. Applicants should be high-quality technology-based enterprises registered in China.
2. Technologies or solutions should possess independent intellectual property rights and have achieved industrial application or demonstrate potential for industrial application.
3. Applicants should have the intention to expand into BRICS markets and possess or demonstrate potential for international operational capabilities.
Documentation Requirements
1. Submission materials: Include an enterprise profile, introduction to the technology or solution, cooperation intentions and methods with BRICS countries, description of the technology or integrated solution, and conditions for technology transfer and industrialization (see attachment for details).
2. Supplementary materials: Provide supporting documents such as evidence of technological advancement, third-party evaluation reports, and successful application cases in other countries or regions.
Submission Method
This solicitation adopts online submission and offline mailing. Please visit
the official website of 'Manufacturing Innovation Achievement Industrialization Service Platform—BRICS Advanced and Applicable Technology Solicitation' (URL: https://bricsmisc.org.cn/#/aatp), complete user registration as required, and upload the electronic version of the submission materials. The system will automatically close at the deadline, and late submissions will not be accepted.
Sealed hard copies should be mailed to: Gao Yujie, Room 1107, Building 8, 27 Wanshou Road, Haidian District, Beijing.
The submission deadline is 24:00 on July 31, 2025.
Evaluation and Promotion
The Center will organize experts to evaluate the submitted technologies and solutions. Outstanding projects will be promoted at the 'New Industries, New Models, New Momentum—Innovation, Synergy, Green' sub-forum of the 2025 BRICS Partnership on New Industrial Revolution Forum and showcased on the BRICS Manufacturing Innovation Network.
